Cancer as a long-term condition taster session has been developed as an engagement and training intervention for general practice nurses. Evaluation from the. These sessions were delivered at practice nurse forums initially in SW London as part of the Macmillan Primary Care Nursing project. The project evaluation identified that these short 30–40-minute sessions were an effective engagement and education opportunity, and that nurses were more likely to seek further cancer education afterwards.
