Low Mood
Some things in life can have a negative effect on your mood. Symptoms of low mood can include feeling tearful, frustrated and empty. You might also crave certain foods, get headaches and sleep more.
There are lots of things you can do to build your resilience, help you to stay positive and boost your mood. Good Thinking recommends various apps, including mood trackers and gratitude journals, and also provides articles, podcasts, worksheets and a self-assessment tool.
Sleep
Getting a good night’s sleep has many benefits for your health and wellbeing. Whether you can’t get to sleep, wake up in the early hours or have bad dreams, there are lots of things you can do to improve your sleep.

Stress
Stress is a normal part of every day life. However, if you experience acute (sudden) or chronic (long-term) stress, you might find that you get back pain, stomach upsets, heart palpitations and other physical symptoms. You might also feel tired, irritable, have difficulty relaxing or be unable to concentrate.

Bereavement
Losing a loved one is difficult at any time. Bereavement and grief affects people in different ways – you might experience shock, numbness, anxiety, sadness, anger, exhaustion and even guilt. Good Thinking has a range of resources that might help you come to terms with your loss.

Londoners have told Good Thinking that there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution when it comes to their health – they want information and support that reflects how they live and what their values are.
Good Thinking has been working with a diverse range of faith and belief communities across London to provide tailored wellbeing content and support. This includes collaborating with local councils, CCGs, charities and other organisations.

Children and Young People
Growing up brings with it many physical changes and challenges, such as exams and bullying, that can have an impact on our mental health. Good Thinking provides a wide range of resources focused specifically on children and young people, including some fantastic free wellbeing apps and top tips to help you get through the tough times.
