NHSmail gives staff in care homes the ability to securely share residents’ data and queries with doctors, nurses and GPs in the NHS. You can support us by encouraging care homes to join NHSmail.
Transformation Partners in Health and Care has been working closely with the NHSmail team and NHS Digital to roll out NHSmail to a group of care homes across London. Read more about how we have been supporting care homes to join NHSmail.
We have just released videos that showcase care homes that are already using NHSmail and the huge benefits they have experienced. You can see the videos below as well as seeing more information on Data Security in Social Care and how we are enabling digital transformation using NHSmail:

Alongside this, we have been supporting care home staff to access NHSmail once they have completed the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT).
To get people started, a workbook and top tips have been developed to help care homes set up an account and learn how to use NHSmail effectively.
If you have completed the DSPT and are ready to set up an NHSmail account, please contact the EHCH team for further information.
