Cancer Rehab competition and how to enter

The Transforming Cancer Services Team (TCST) is delighted to announce the launch of the first ever Competition for Cancer Rehabilitation for London and West Essex.

TCST provides strategic leadership for cancer across London, working with key partners to support the delivery of cancer waiting targets, earlier diagnosis of cancer, those who are living with and beyond cancer and to increase the pace of improvement.

Following the publication of the NHS Long Term Plan and the imminent publication of the TCST Commissioning Guidance for Cancer Rehabilitation, TCST would like to showcase how cancer rehabilitation services across the region are delivering personalised care for patients in London and West Essex.

Competition categories:

Personalised care in prehabilitation
Personalised care in rehabilitation during and/or after treatment
Personalised care in palliative rehabilitation

What are the competition awards looking for?

Our judges are looking for evidence of personalised care which deliver improved outcomes and experiences for patients. Demonstration of innovative ways of working, patient feedback and the economic benefit of rehabilitation will be particularly well received.

What can my service win?

Each winner will receive a prize for their category and be included as a case study of best practice in the TCST Commissioning Guidance for Cancer Rehabilitation. Winners will also receive a bespoke support package from TCST to promote their service regionally and nationally.
