Cancer services will be commissioned in line with a number of national and regional cancer priorities and quality standards. In 2016/17 quality requirements for cancer have been refined to provide clarity on actions to reduce variation. The KPIs have been aligned to the Model of Care and the work programmes of the integrated cancer systems.
