Healthy London Partnership is supporting delivery of sustainability and transformation plans (STPs) by tackling signifcant issues that can addressed once for London and providing specific support. We work flexibly alongside STPs to respond to variations in demand, work on new emerging priorities and share knowledge to accelerate transformation. Our portfolio of programmes aims to realise whole system transformational change and support London in achieving its goal to be the world’s healthiest global city.
The Head of Portfolio and Operations will work collaboratively with all parts of the system to ensure activities are aligned across the full commissioning and delivery chain, effectively supporting local transformation action, and maximising synergies across programmes to transform care across the whole system. This means the role requires flexibily and adaptable, with a willingness to travel across London and sustain a collaborative approach across a range of stakeholders.
It is essential that this role is undertaken by an individual that has extensive portfolio / project management experience, in an NHS environment, and has a track record of success in delivering large-scale, complex projects with significant benefits at stake. The post holder will need to be confident managing across the entire project life-cycle.
The post holder will take a lead on the strategic direction of the portfolio, be responsible for key stakeholder engagement on the portfolio level, oversee and monitor complex finance, programme management office (PMO) and other business processes and intervene with programme plans as required to ensure risks and issues are mitigated. The post holder will develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders from HLP governance groups, partner organisations and programmes and work closely with them to enable effective management of dependencies across the portfolio.
This role is a Band 8d fixed-term post for one year. Secondments are welcome. Applications close 19 June 2017. Interviews will be during the week commencing 26 June and 03 July.
