Healthy London Partnership and its development partner, Content Guru, picked up the ‘Digital Transformation Project’ award for the NHS 111 Patient Relationship Management system.
The cloud-based system is designed to improve patients’ experience of NHS 111 and has been digitally transforming the way the NHS in London manages urgent care. It is currently unique to London although there are now plans for a national pilot.
The NHS 111 patient relationship manager routes calls to the healthcare professional best equipped to deal with each enquiry, supplies relevant patient information, and provides specialised dashboards for London based commissioners and providers.
The system’s initial goals of improving patient experience and their health outcomes, whilst increasing efficiency, are being more than achieved, with improvements continually taking place.
