Join Thrive LDN’s community workshops across London and start talking about mental health

24th October 2017

Thrive LDN will be hosting four community workshops across London in the coming weeks with the aim to encourage people to work together improve health and happiness in their boroughs.

The workshops will focus on discussing ways Londoners, the NHS and partners can work together to improve the health and happiness of everyone who lives and works in the capital.

The workshops will be held in Lambeth on 27th October, Enfield on 8th November, Redbridge on 13th November and Sutton on 23rd November.

The workshops are open to anyone living or working in the relevant boroughs and the conversations will be based around the six Thrive LDN aspirations.

Thrive LDN is a citywide movement to improve the mental wellbeing of all Londoners. It is supported by the Mayor of London and led by the London Health Board, in partnership with Greater London Authority, London’s CCGs through Healthy London Partnership, NHS England (London Region), Public Health England (London Region) and London Councils.

Residents in the boroughs and anyone who delivers services with them, are very welcome to join in and share their views.

Similar workshops have been held in Newham, Hackney, Waltham Forest, Islington, Southwark, Tower Hamlets and Barking and Dagenham so far, with nine problem solving booths also held across the capital.

Thrive’s ‘Are we OK London?’ campaign was launched on 4 July to help have an open conversation with Londoners about mental health and wellbeing. Since its launch, the campaign has reached more than 14.5 million people and had over 60,000 interactions with the public.
