About this event
Approach for London
The government has an ambitious vision for Care Homes across the UK to modernise health and social care using the latest (digital) technologies. You have a key role to play in making that happen and we hope you are excited to begin this digital journey with our support. You will have the chance to begin using NHSmail and then progress to further opportunities, such as accessing online care records held by primary care organisations and social care services.
To enhance wellbeing in care homes, we need to start connecting with our colleagues across health and care services. Creating these links and relationships will enable people to keep each other informed about the needs and conditions of residents; as well as starting to use Information Technology (IT) systems in care homes more effectively.
Will you be a part of this change?
Our Offer
We are offering support to care homes in Bromley to prepare to make this change. This includes helping your homes to become compliant with UK data laws, complete the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) and to set up and use NHSmail effectively. We will work with you to ensure you use new digital tools confidently, securely and to their full potential!
We are running workshops to share with you the exciting opportunities that digital in social care brings, and help you to get started in bringing digital tools into your home. Spaces are limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible.
If you’re interested in attending future training sessions please email hlp.ehchprogramme@nhs.net to register your interest.
